In a society where drug use, gun violence, and moral confusion have become normalized, our children are not the problem; they are the evidence. After every tragedy, the same question is asked: Why? The NOL answers with clarity: when households fail, outcomes follow. Hopeless environments do not produce random results. Tragedy is rarely spontaneous. It is nurtured over generations, beginning at birth inside unstable households. When relationships are unhealthy, and fathers never develop into Daddies, children are forced to raise themselves. In that absence, they search for identity, protection, and validation in the streets, in gangs, in abuse, and in misuse. Hope fades. Discipline disappears. Tragedy is no longer hidden; it becomes normalized. Tragedy does not always end in death. Often, it survives as a generational curse, waiting for the next child, the next household, the next eruption.
