Two divisions creating opportunity through agriculture and modern business training.

NOL Product Lines

NOL has two product divisions: Agriculture and Non-Agriculture. The Agriculture division is designed to develop and train beginning farmers and ranchers through comprehensive education, technical assistance, and applied learning experiences. NOL also supports existing producers by increasing access to training, resources, and market opportunities, with targeted outreach to veterans and historically underserved communities to strengthen long-term agricultural sustainability.

NOL Non-Agriculture division focuses on marketing specialty items, also known as promotional items, which provide committed loyal supporters with products they already utilize.

Agriculture

Every 26 seconds, a student drops out of school in the United States. Agriculture provides a proven pathway to re-engage youth by combining hands-on learning, responsibility, and real-world skill development. Research shows that hands-on, experiential learning environments improve student engagement and retention, particularly for at-risk youth. Through growing food and managing land, young people build discipline, problem-solving skills, and a sense of ownership—while contributing to healthier communities and local food systems. Underutilized land is transformed into productive spaces growing crops such as black-eyed peas, corn, tomatoes, and collard greens, creating both economic and educational opportunities.

Non-Agriculture

NOL’s Non-Agriculture division focuses on the Ad Specialties Industry, also known as Promotional Products. Through this platform, players learn how to communicate effectively, build professional relationships, and strengthen social skills by engaging directly with supporters, customers, and business partners. Each player gains hands-on experience in manufacturing and customizing apparel and promotional products, while also learning how to prepare proposals, develop pricing, and secure contracts with both small businesses and large corporate clients.
Players will have access to a state-of-the-art web portal that enables them to create professional proposals and quotes in minutes, equipping them to market to Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and individuals while generating consistent monthly sales of third-party products and services.

NOL Youth Agribusiness Communications Outreach & Development (YACODC)

Through the NOL Youth Agribusiness Communications Outreach and Development Center (YACODC), youth ages 7–19 from urban and rural communities can apply for character-based loans of up to $10,000, supported through partnerships with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA). This initiative is designed to equip youth with real-world opportunities that can reshape their future and impact communities nationwide.
Participants receive training in agribusiness, core academics (English, Math, and Science), technology, and entrepreneurship—preparing them for careers in agriculture, green technology, and business. Supported by mentors, professionals, and volunteers, youth gain practical knowledge in sustainability, conservation, and financial literacy, while also engaging their families in the learning process.

Each participant is guided in launching a neighborhood-based store, providing access to affordable food and helping address local food insecurity. These youth-led stores turn communities into hubs of opportunity—where young leaders build businesses, serve their neighborhoods, and create economic impact where they live.
